The briquetting process consist of making semirigid bodies applying a high pressure on a previously crushed chip in a mould.
Main advantages of the process are the revaluation of the chip, volume reduction, recycling process improvement, and transport and handling costs reduction.
Technical details:
- Max. work pressure of 400 bar.
- Compression force up to 70 tn.
- Briquettes area: 60 x 60.
- Briquette length depending on the material = 30 -80 mm.
- Briquette length depending on the material = 30 -80 mm.
- Overall dimensions: (w x l x h) (1106 x 2219 x1743).
To be used for:
- Short or pre-crushed metal chips.
- Recycling of chips.
It Provides:
- Automatic feeding of chips to compression chamber.
- Chip feed hopper.
- Hydraulic unit for chip compression process.
- Recovered coolant or oil reservoir.
- Outlet of the briquettes to container.
